Licensing options
Perpetual license
A perpetual license is a software licensing model where the customer pays a one-time fee to get a termless access to a software. The perpetual license never expires – once it is activated, it can be used forever. This type of license is optimal for the long term use of software for solving the long term projects.
Annual subscription
The opposite of the perpetual license is a subscription license. The annual subscription requires subscribers to pay once a year to use the software. This type of license is optimal for single short term projects or for one-time works. Due to a limited validity period (1 year), the annual subscription license has lower initial cost, so you can start using the software with a lower upfront investment.
Cloud hosting
If you do not have your own reliable server infrastructure, we recommend you consider the option to host your CoGIS based system on our company's servers. In this case you do not have to worry about overprovisioning or underprovisioning resources and to administer servers and platform, while having full control over the functions of your system.
Licensing principle
The CoGIS platform licensing principle is based on the criterion determining the number of needed licenses.
